Happy New Year to all and congratulations to each of you for the tremendous growth and early success of Agel!
As we enter the most productive time of year for our industry, I contemplate what each us must do to make the most of the Agel opportunity. I remember an economic theory from years ago. It stated that, “a rising tide lifts all boats.” If the economy itself gets larger, all participants in the economy will likewise progress. That was the thought.
Now I am not an economist and don’t claim to know whether or not that is true of an economy, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that it is not true in Agel! If Agel grows by 10 percent this month, does that mean that by definition your business will also grow?
I say no. Here’s why. What I have learned is this; a rising tide only lifts those boats that are in the water. If your boat is 100 feet above sea level, the water will have to rise a long ways before it ever reaches you.
How do you assure yourself substantial participation in what I believe is certain to be one of the most dramatic periods of growth ever experienced by any network marketing company? How do you get your boat in the water?
Happily enough it is easy. The simple activities required to succeed in our business have been well documented and articulated. I believe those who have the correct knowledge combined with confidence and enthusiasm are those who will emerge as winners.
Here are a few simple questions I pose to each of you:
Have you registered for the upcoming “Go Diamond” weekend? If not, why not? If so, have you made a primary goal of having your entire group and best prospects in attendance with you?
How many personal contacts have you made today? Are you doing the heavy lifting or expecting others to do it for you? Is your Agel business a daily business, or one of convenience?
How about this? If your entire group did for the next six months what you have personally done for the last six days, what would your business look like six months from now?
'
My boat is in the water. When Agel rises, my business rises. That happy situation notwithstanding, I can say that today I have done what is required to succeed. I am involved in personal recruiting activities DAILY and I make the success of my Agel business a priority in my life. I want each of you to have the success that is possible with Agel. Now I ask you, is your boat in the water?
