As the summer ends, we enter the most productive time of the year in network marketing. Fall typically is the season when business explodes and massive growth takes place. As a company, we are gearing up to break even more enrollment and sales records.
It is exciting to look back at our phenomenal progress and see how the decisions we made, over a year ago, have had a direct impact on thousands of lives today. The same is true for each of you in your own individual businesses. Everything you enjoy today is a direct result of the decisions you made yesterday. Your decision to join Agel has brought you to your current position, whether you are a diamond director or a brand new team member.
Where you will be in the next two years will depend largely on the decisions you make in the next 90 days. When planning your future, you can never take lightly the decisions you entertain, the thoughts you foster and the action you take today.
While your past decisions have created your present circumstances, it is also important to point out that your past does not have power to determine your future. If you’re happy with the results you’ve experienced in your past, please keep in mind that your past does not equal your future. As Dr. Wayne Dyer says, “I liken the past to the wake of a boat. The wake does not drive the boat, nor does it determine the direction it’s headed. It only shows where it’s been.”
I encourage you to decide today to make the changes you need in your life to ensure a bright future. The first step is to identify those areas in your life- thoughts, attitudes, or activities- that don’t directly contribute to your future happiness. After all, if you don’t make changes, how do you expect change to come? The best definition of “insanity” I’ve ever heard is doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results. Generally speaking, your circumstances won’t ever change unless you change your activities.
The decisions you make today will determine when you’re going to be in the next two years because today’s decisions lead to today’s actions and thus, tomorrow’s results. I encourage you to become very conscious of your daily activities and take control of where you are headed by determining what you wan this business to do for you, and then act accordingly. A good start is working on adding more stones to it each month going forward. Don’t let your past disappointments and failures become the prison bars that hold you back. Recognize these experiences for what they are: stepping-stones to success. As you learn from your past and commit to greater action each day, you build a future full of promise and limitless possibilities.
Forever Believing in You,
Craig Bradley
