As a Man Thinketh...

International | network marketing

What a fantastic month! Not only did we witness Billy Looper and Wes Anderson become our newest Diamond Directors, our recruiting and sales continue to move up by incredible margins. There are some companies that are "settling in for a nice winter's nap" but Agel is just getting started. We are set to achieve phenomenal results as we close out 2006 and move into our next growth phase. I thank each of you for your dedication and hard work as we continue our mission to spread health and hope to the entire world.

As I've been pondering over what has brought about these recent achievements, I'm brought back to the determining factor for any success (or failure) in life. It is totally in your attitude. As William James put it, "The greatest discovery of this generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind." In other words, if you think you can or if you think you can't, either way, you're right.

In his classic book, As a Man Thinketh, James Allen provides some remarkable insights into building the life we all desire. He states, "The aphorism, 'As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he,' not only embraces the whole of a man's being, but is so comprehensive as to reach out to every condition and circumstance of his life. A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts." Anthony Robbins comments, "If you want to replicate someone's success, ask them how they think."

Imagine for a moment how some of our great Agel leaders think. Do you believe any of our Diamond Directors keep focused on the last person who told them "no?" Can you imagine them thinking that becoming a Diamond Director is just too hard? Or, did they sponsor by thinking, "If I only sign up 10 people this month, then I'll be happy?" Of course not. These great leaders knew what they wanted and knew that accomplishing it was only a matter of focusing their thoughts on attaining remarkable results.

You may be tempted to think, "But that's them. I could never accomplish what they have. They are remarkable people with special talents I could never cultivate." I challenge you to discuss this idea with any of these leaders. You'll learn that they each had to start their journey to success somewhere. While it's true we all have unique talents, it's also true that developing those talents to that point of ultimate success will only come from focused effort, diligent belief and a driving passion. The choice is yours!

I challenge you to think about how you think. Realize there is no such thing as an inconsequential thought. Whether good or bad, your thoughts will always drive your actions. Even actions that you feel are impulsive and spur of the moment. As you go throughout this holiday season, let your thoughts continue to be turned toward giving and sharing, of helping and supporting, and you will be amazed at how your actions change to come into alignment with those thoughts.

Thoughtfully yours,
Craig Bradley
President
